What is a Chimney Liner Kit?

By definition a chimney liner kit is just that, a kit with all the chimney parts that you will need for a successful Do It Yourself (DIY) chimney liner installation. Our chimney liner kits come with a chimney cap, chimney top plate, flexible chimney liner, tee  or stove connector, and installation instructions. All the chimney liner kit components come with an EZ Clamp component system for easy installation. The chimney liner kit does NOT include any form of insulation or custom parts.

Are There Different Types of Kits?

There are two different types of chimney liner kits that Chimney Liner Express carries. The first being the Flex King Brand of flexible chimney liners.  We sell a Flex King and a Flex King Pro brand of chimney liner kits. Each containing all the chimney liner parts that you will need for a successful DIY chimney installation.

Why Should You By A Chimney Liner Kit Rather Than Just A Chimney Liner?

A chimney liner kit offers you much more value for your chimney liner project, given that all your chimney parts are in the chimney kit compared to just buying a chimney liner only you would have to then buy all the parts you would need. Also if you are installing the chimney liner for the first time, then we would suggest purchasing a chimney liner kit to be sure that you have everything you will need for a successful DIY chimney liner installation. If you already have the chimney parts or are just replacing your chimney liner then you should just purchase a chimney liner by itself. Be aware that if you are installing our liner with other manufacturer parts, the UL Listing and Warranty may be voided.

What Can I Burn With A Chimney Liner?

Our Flex King chimney liners and our rigid chimney liners can be used with most any fuel, including wood, pellet, gas, oil and coal. Our Flex King chimney liners are UL listed for all of these fuels so you are sure to have the piece of mind you are buying the best chimney liner kit out there.

How Long Does A Chimney Liner Kit Last?

Since our chimney liner kits (chimney liner and chimney parts) are made of stainless steel which is rust resistant, the only wear you will get on the chimney liner kit is general usage. If you clean your chimney and chimney liner kit annually and maintain it in accordance with the instruction manual, your chimney liner kit will last a lifetime.
