HomeSaver Fireplace Mortar in caulking tubes is great for tuckpointing fireboxes and mortaring replacement firebricks. It will dry as hard as firebrick when it's properly cured. Withstands temperatures up to 2000 degrees F. It's not for exterior use, and should be applied 1/16"-1/8" thick.
